Kinross Asset Management Ltd is a company providing bespoke property investment partnerships, applying a principled and innovative approach to align all stakeholders and ensure value enhancement.

Our experience comes from 25 years working in commercial real estate, finance and business management in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and Europe.

We believe in the long-term positive performance of the New Zealand commercial real estate market and we target investing in real estate that will provide sustainable cashflow with capital value growth.

WHAT WE DO

Kinross Asset Management Ltd acts as the General Partner administering limited liability partnerships established to invest in solid, income generating commercial real estate investments. Our focus is on long term wealth creation and preservation.

 We use our extensive network to source properties that match our investment criteria and that we truly believe in.

 We conduct thorough market research on the target asset based on a series of fundamental principles, and thereafter arranging the investment structure in a transparent and professional manner. We work with trusted industry advisors and keep a focus on the bottom-line operational costs.

 We align our interests with each partnership either through fee structuring or taking a co-investment stake, demonstrating our confidence in employed strategies and investment opportunities.

WHO WE ARE

Kinross Asset Management Ltd is owned by Hamish White and Guy Fairbrass, who act as Managing Partners. They established the company to provide investors with the opportunity to participate in commercial real estate investments in New Zealand.

Guy and Hamish are passionate about New Zealand. After having spent considerable time working and living in Europe they see the benefits the country has to offer. Their combined knowledge provides a sound platform of skills fused with a strong local and global network.

Hamish White

MRICS

Hamish began his career in 1994 working for Harcourts/Colliers International in Wellington. After a successful period specialising in investment sales he transferred to Colliers International Hungary in 2002. He led Colliers Investment which pioneered and dominated in the local CRE market. In 2011 he joined a large-scale European banking group to manage and turn around a portfolio of commercial real estate. Since 2016 Hamish has managed his own real estate advisory company in Budapest, Hungary and acts for a number of private clients who operate throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. He graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Arts in 1993 and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), having served as a board member of RICS Hungary for six years.

 

 

Guy Fairbrass

NZICA

Guy graduated from Canterbury University with a Bcom and gained his full Chartered Accountant status in 1998. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand (NZICA).

For the last 10 years Guy has been Chief Financial Officer of MAI Insurance Brokers, a pan -European business demanding intensive oversight and reporting. Guy resided in Budapest for 5 years but relocated back to New Zealand with his family in 2016. Prior to MAI he held a number of high-level management positions including being Head of Operational Risk Events Reporting for UBS worldwide and CFO for Planet 3 publishing. He has also gained experience at Citibank Australia and Royal & Sun Alliance (now RSA Insurance Group) in the UK.
